Shoulder Caps & Protection

The shoulder caps feature a low profile AMP design, or Active Motion Performance, which is an advanced technology incorporated into the shoulder caps to enhance mobility and responsiveness. These AMP caps are engineered to be lightweight and adapt dynamically to the player's range of motion, providing reliable protection against impacts while keeping the shoulder pads lightweight and responsive.

Sternum Protection

The sternum area of the Bauer M5 Pro shoulder pads is the same as the Mach, featuring a floating design that optimizes protection and mobility. With this design, the sternum can move independently, adapting to the player's body movements and providing a secure yet flexible fit. Additionally, the use of CURV composite material in this area ensures that the protection remains lightweight without compromising on safety. The front panel of the shoulder pads also incorporates molded Hyperlite foam, which offers the advantage of being water-resistant, preventing absorption and maintaining a lightweight feel throughout the entire game.

Spine Protection

The Bauer Supreme M5 Pro shoulder pads provide exceptional and reliable spine protection with an integrated molded spine. This design offers crucial impact resistance, shielding the spine from potential injuries during intense gameplay. It also enhances the overall protective capabilities of the shoulder pads without sacrificing comfort or mobility.

Bicep Protection

The biceps showcase Active Motion Protection (AMP) split bicep technology, which enables players to move their arms freely, enhancing their range of motion during gameplay—without compromising protection. The pads also incorporate molded CURV composite material for the reliable protection and light weight you can expect from top-of-the-line hockey gear.

Liner

The pads use Bauer’s Thermomax liner, which is designed to effectively manage moisture and keep players dry during intense gameplay. It utilizes moisture-wicking materials that help to draw sweat away from the body and accelerate evaporation, promoting a more comfortable and odour-free experience. By keeping the player's body dry, the Thermomax liner aims to enhance performance and comfort on the ice.
